If you have been injured at work there are a few steps you must take.
1. Notify your employer with the details of your injury. Your employer will notify WCB about your injury if the treatment required is anything beyond first aid or if you missed time from work.
2. Notify your health care provider (doctor, physiotherapist or chiropractor) so we can report your injury to WCB-Alberta within 48hrs.
3. Report to WCB Alberta personally, by filling out an WCB Injury Report form which you can find online or from our office.
